Cast Iron Window frames - Casting - Wrought Artworks - Iron work Australia

A reproduction of the original cast iron window frames for The Eveleigh Locomotive Workshop, now The Australian Technology Park.

Wrought Artworks made the patterns and built a couplet furnace for this project in order to melt down salvaged cast iron pipes retrieved during the building of the ATP.

The windows are composed of two square panels and a fanlight bolted together.

As of 23 March 2013, Wrought Artworks are no longer conducting architectural metalwork projects and have shifted focus to the manufacture of architectural steel windows and doors. WroughtArtworks.com will continue to exist as a portfolio of our work from over 25 years in business - showing our expertise and commitment to design and traditional craftsmanship.
