Cast Iron Window Frames- Eveleigh Locomotive Works - Cast Iron Work - Wrought Artworks - Iron work Australia

A reproduction of the original cast iron window frames for The Eveleigh Locomotive Workshop,

now The Australian Technology Park. The same location as the workshop.

Wrought Artworks made the patterns and built a couplet furnace for this project.

The iron was salvaged from the cast iron pipes dug up on the site during the infrastructure upgrade.

It was melted down and remade into the windows. The windows are composed of two square panels

and a fanlight, bolted together.

Client: Australian Technology Park
