Wrought Artworks restored, widened and added decorative paneling to this imposing European antique gate to suit a motorized system.
The details in the corners and the intertwining pattern were hand-carved in timber and cast in iron. All work was fitted with screws and blind rivets.
Frosted glass was fitted on the inside for privacy. These gates required a structural engineer to specify the fixing points in the walls and to ensure the structural integrity of the walls was not compromised. The wall required reinforcement. A crane was used to install the gates and fit the glass panels.
