Twenty bench seats were commissioned by Leichhardt City Council, the first edition in 1999, the 2nd edition in 2001.

Designed by Wrought Artworks in an organic 'bone-like' fashion, the bench seats were cast in bronze, patinated, and waxed to a verdigrie tone. The bronze in each seat continues to look better with age and use.

The tallow wood slats are fixed on with brass screws, and integral stainless pins allow the benches to be cemented into the pavement.

The bench seats have been listed as State Significant.
