Lyre Chair and Lyre Console - Tables and Chairs - Wrought Artworks - Iron work Australia

This handcrafted  feature piece was made in 1990. These pieces are early works, comprising details borrowed from various architectural cannons and styles. The lyre chair features cabriole legs, and blowover leaf scroll work. The console has a rockfaced sandstone base and a rough hewn Jarrah top. All elements are hand-forged and finished in a traditional burnt oil finish and then waxed.

As of 23 March 2013, Wrought Artworks are no longer conducting architectural metalwork projects and have shifted focus to the manufacture of architectural steel windows and doors.
