This pair of lanterns had considerable rust and dilapidation necessitating a complete remake. The castleated detail on the top edge was recast in lead, as original. The hinge and catch on one of the glass panels, required in lanterns to access the bulb, was hand-made in the traditional manner.  New glass was cut and new wiring installed.
